OUR story
The Track Dryer was born out of a simple question: Why isn’t there a faster, quieter, and more cost-effective way to dry race tracks? Traditional jet dryers—while effective—are notoriously loud, costly to operate, and require extensive maintenance.
Recognizing this gap, Charles Hensley, an industrial burner service technician with deep expertise in heating processes, set out to engineer a better solution. His mission: to create a safer, more economical dryer that could minimize rain delays across local and professional tracks.
The result was The Track Dryer—a patented system that uses an innovative heating method to rapidly dry surfaces with minimal noise and maintenance. With a sound level no louder than a riding lawn mower, it has proven effective across a wide range of applications, including racetracks, baseball fields, drag strips, truck pull tracks, and even icy roads and bridges.
Today, The Track Dryer continues to impress operators and track owners across the country with its performance, reliability, and affordability—cutting operating costs by nearly half compared to traditional jet dryers. The company is proud to serve as a Competition Partner with NASCAR, bringing this next-generation technology to some of the biggest stages in motorsports.
